Offutt AFB Housing. Rising View, a subsidiary of America First Communities
(AFC), is the property manager and real estate developer. Construction of new units is complete with a total of 914
homes built. Community amenities include 61 tot lots and playgrounds, a dog walking park, soccer field, sand volleyball
courts, and approximately 15,000 linear feet of walking trails, full and half court basketball courts, and picnic pavilions.
In addition, a new community gathering center "The Pointe at Rising View" (5600 gross square feet facility and 150
max person capacity) is available to housing residents. HOUSING AREAS The three housing
areas at Offutt are described as follows:
Capehart Housing (Officer and Enlisted Housing Area):
Capehart privatized housing is located two miles west of Offutt AFB and offers a variety of housing styles for Junior NCOs,
Senior NCOs, Company Grade Officers, Field Grade Officers, and Senior Officers. There are single family one level units, some
with basements, single story duplex, some with basements, and two story duplexes without basements. All units have one or
two car garages. Each unit is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, garbage disposal, and central air
conditioning. Coffman Height Housing (Junior NCO Housing E1 thru E6, Senior Enlisted Housing
E7 thru E8, and O6 Senior Officer Housing): These units are on the base proper, were built in 2000/2001, and are like-new
condition. Each unit is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, garbage disposal, dishwasher, and central air conditioning. These
are all duplex single story or two-story units with a garage. There are 82 two-bedroom units, and 72 three-bedroom units located
in this area.
Fort Crook Historic Housing: The Fort Crook Historical District, located in the
center of the base, was originally a U.S. Army cavalry post completed in late 1896. Today, the district includes two housing
areas: · General's Row consists of 18 three-story brick units (nine duplexes) and one single, three story unit
for general/flag officers and key and mission essential personnel. · Prestige Chief Housing (E9) consists of
3 four-bedroom, two story single brick units, and 4 three-bedroom, two story single brick units.
